Music Club | The Magic of Theodore Bikel: A Centennial Celebration (Hybrid)

Join us for a delightful afternoon program with Aimee Gisnburg Bikel, the widow of the legendary Theodore Bikel z”l. Bikel, beloved icon of Jewish culture and tikkun olam activist extraordinaire, cared about nothing more than keeping our Jewish memories alive with his music, and making the world a better place for everyone. Aimee will share stories and lessons from Theo’s life and legacy, from his childhood in Vienna through his magnificent career and teachings, with video, music, and of wonderful anecdotes from his 70 year career.

About Aimee
Aimee Ginsburg Bikel is an award-winning journalist, author, poet, and public speaker. She is the founding director of the Theodore Bikel Legacy Project. She has lived in Israel, India, and the United States and her work has been published worldwide. She served as the senior Israeli India Correspondent for more than a decade and has extensive experience as a radio editor and host. She has spoken to audiences around the world about her work and life experiences and is currently on tour with her book, The City Of Light. Her first volume of poetry, Take Me With You will be published in 2024.
